Importing and Exporting Data

This functionality is currently not available on IPSE GO. This section was written for a different IPSE product, only parts of this documentation may be applicable to IPSE GO.

Import and export filters allow interfacing IPSE with any other application. IPSE defines a DLL interface for maintaining data import and export. The standard installation includes a filter for importing and exporting lists of text in the following format:

<Object Name>.<Item Name> <Item Value>
To export a list of items:

  1. Select Project  Export … .

  2. Choose Simple Text and follow the instructions of the filter.

To import a list of items:

  1. Select Project  Import … .

  2. Choose Simple Text and follow the instructions of the filter.
