Help for Used Classes and Models

Online Help

Information about all model classes and models of a model library is accessible via an online help file. There are several ways to access the help file.

To open the index of the library help file:

  1. Select Help  Library Help.

To directly access help for a unit model class:

  1. In an icon bar select an icon that represents the class.

  2. Right click on the icon and select the command Help or press F1.

  3. IPSE opens help for the model class.

To directly access help for a model:

  1. Select a unit, connection or global or open the data dialog for the respective object

  2. Press F1.

  3. IPSE opens help for the model.

Model Samples

While help for a particular model provides detailed information about the equations used for calculating this model, it often is helpful to have a fully configured example for the model which demonstrates how settings can be selected. Appropriately configured model libraries include an example for each model class available.

To access a sample project for a unit model class:

  1. In an icon bar select an icon that represents the class.

  2. Right click on the icon and select the command Open Sample or press F2.

  3. IPSE opens a sample project for the model class.
